Mitch Hedberg and the Pope
Two of my favorite people died last week: Mitch Hedberg and the Pope. I got to see both of them live and in person, so I consider myself lucky. The Pope had one of the longest reigns in history. He was the only pope I have ever known, as far as I can tell, he was one of the best. Mitch Hedberg was a stand up comedian. He was not as holy as the Pope, but I bet he was funnier. I'd like to think he is now telling jokes to the Pope, because his jokes were pretty clean and I think the Pope would like them. John Paul II and Mitch Hedberg, may you rest in peace.
