My mom is totally dying because my store is the talk of the town. Which is totally great because I need some buzz, actually, I need the whole town to be curious enough that they will come in and check it out. My mom hates it when people talk about her, so this is killing her. We've been reletively scandal free so mom isn't used to it. I keep telling her that this is good for the store, and every day she says, "So and so was asking me about the store today..." One lady she knows had her own store in Augusta that didn't last a year. She considers herself quite artsy. She asked my mom if I needed any sponge painting. Mom's all, "No, she's good..." Sponge painting... I think I know what her store went under...
