The squirrel
I've been putting peanuts on my back deck for the squirrels. It amuses me that they come up on my deck because they have to sneak past the dogs (not that hard, they are lazy) but the deck is on the second story. I just saw one take the last peanut. He spralled out on his belly and enjoyed his snack. How can people shoot these adorable creatures? Deer are adorable, but at least with a deer you can PRETEND you shot it for the meat, and not because you like walking around out in the woods shooting things. But seriously, I know people do eat squirrels, but c'mon, we all know that thing isn't going to feed a family of four, you aren't fooling anybody. I don't want to hear any crap about how it tastes good either. Play Doh tastes good, but you don't see me eating that. So anyway, I like my squirrels. They are cute and adorable and they amuse me so I feed them peanuts. I am not amused when people shoot them or rabbits. Also cute and adorable and live behind my house. They just don't make it onto the deck, and I don't know if they like peanuts.
