plant torture
Did you know that poinsettas are naturally green and happy plants? I kept waiting for mine to turn red with the cooler weather. Then I was told that you have to put it in a closet without sun for a couple of months to turn them red. To that I say, Nay, to plant torture. I say the redness is plant blood and I shall not have plant blood on my hands. Green is also a Christmas color. So every time you see a pointsetta this Christmas, you are going to be thinking, "That is one unhappy plant."
