Isabella, the great impersonator
Things that Isabella does to impersonate people/animals:She will pant like a dog.
She will walk around the yard with the pooper scooper.
She will write on the wall with a marker (just like when mommy is working on her mural)
She will talk on the phone.
She will use a spoon.
She will put on her shoes.
She will put things away.
She will brush her teeth and hair.
She will dance.
She will put her finger over her lips and shush if someone on TV does it.
She will unzip my purse and take the wallet out and take all the credit cards out.
She wil get undressed and take her diaper off, esp. if there is poop in it. (nice)
Things she came up with on her own:
Jumping up and down on her bed.
Banging on the popcorn tin like a drum.
Experimentation with toys to see how they work.
It is scary and facinating to see how much she will copy, but at the same time she is teaching herself and learning things on her own. Which goes back to what I said earlier about how you become better than your parents. You learn everything that they know, make it your own, make it better, and learn more stuff that they don't know at the same time. I'm seeing it in action, and it is scary.
