finding God?

There has been a lot of God talk around this house for one reason or another lately, its like its been a big God month. Discussion over whether or not God should be thanked for getting you tickets you desire, or similarly blamed for a lousy love life. Discussion is not all that interesting between me and Todd, since we always agree, until a brief moment last night. As it turns out, Todd's brother has finally, "found God". He has been an active God-hater for as long as Todd can remember. As Catholics, we are not recruiters, so if he wants to hate God, he can go for it, which sounds bad, but you've never talked to Justin before. So this girlfriend type person has finally converted him and he has been going to church at this place called "The Rock" (Any former Mizzou people remember this place?) The annoying part is where he was telling Todd's dad about his article he read about how Mormons and Catholics aren't Christians. First of all, tired as hell of being called "not a Christian" by so-called "Christians", especially by a former God-hating newfound Christian. But he didn't say it to my face and who knows what he really said so, whatever. The disagreement between me and Todd stems from this, however. He says that if his brother really believes that we aren't Christians, then he isn't going to help him with his car or just about anything else because he's tired of his bullshit. I say, he went to our wedding, he went to the kids baptisms, he dressed up and kept his mouth shut, that's all I care about. If he ends up at the new baby's baptism and decides to start preaching, he'll find my foot up his ass, but if he dresses up and keeps quiet, then by all means, I don't care what he believes, which, lets face it, changes depending on where he is getting some ass. If only he could find a nice Catholic girl that will put out...
