You know what is reality TV? The olympics. That is a real nail biter. Talk about drama. You work your whole life practicing at something and it all comes down to one moment. Ice skating is crazy. If you win the gold, you retire never to be seen or heard from again, if you get the silver, you keep coming back until you die of old age. Like the last three or four gold metal winners were no older than 16, they just disappeared after that. Michelle Kwan got silver like all those times, not really. She was 13 during the whole Nancy Kerrigan fiasco. She got bumped to send the golden girl and white trash america over these to get their asses whooped by a 16 year old from Russia, in quite the horrible outfit if I recall correctly, I guess the judges didn't care about the outfit. Then there was Tara Lipinski, she wrote an autobiography at age 16. I'm sure it was like 3 chapters long, never to be seen or heard from again. Kwan got the silver. Last time it was that other 16 year old, good old whats-her-face, never to be seen or heard from again. Kwan got third. So when she was 13 she got the shaft, then she went to the next two so here she is again. According to history, she would have had a better shot ten years ago, but she carries on in her third olympics. Maybe it is her last, who the hell knows? But for the love, can she win the gold already? I was watching one year, and this random french woman, she was this ripped out black woman, decides to drop the pro thing and go back to amateur and give the olympics a go. She might have been before, but she was pretty old considering the ages of everyone else. Anyway, in the middle of the routine she falls, which everyone knows, you just kissed the gold goodbye, so she decides, fuck it, and does a backflip on the ice, which is a pro move and gets you disqualified. It was her little way of saying, "Suck on it amatures." Got to give her credit, it was a long time ago, but I still remember it. Can't wait. Sasha Coen always chokes when Kwan is around, it is like she slips her something. It will be great. Go Kwan!
