Float-trippin'
We went on a float trip this weekend. It was a "sit in an inner tube and let the river take you" type of float trip. Organized by the ever-over-excited Jeremey. (That was a shout out to Jeremey) There was like 35 people there or something. Wes provided the musical entertainment. (That was a shout out to Wes) It was my job to bring the meat. What an honor. You are like no where without meat at a camp out. We camped on Friday night and floated on Saturday. We opted not to camp on Saturday. Which turned out to be a good idea because we slept horribly Friday night due to the hot weather and the lack of packing pillows and the rocks jabbing me in the back. It also rained on us as soon as we started driving home, perhaps it missed the campsite. Todd didn't want to bring the air matress, he thought I was being a weenie. We are so bringing the air matress next time. I didn't get too much of a sunburn. I think the tube rubbed off my sunblock because the parts of me that touched the tube the most were the only parts that burned. We somehow managed to do a 5 hour float in 6 1/2 hours. I blame it on the coolers slowing us down. Next time I'm bringing my flippers and pulling the coolers myself. I have a sweet pair of flippers. Always looking for a reason to bust out the flippers...

Thanks for the shout out! And as to why the "sexy" pose is not on my blog, the picture came out pretty darn fuzzy. Water cameras are great at keeping the water out, but the water vapor that is inside at the time it is sealed doesn't seem to have a problem condensing right on the lens when it gets a little warm. So alas, the "Guys of the Float Trip" calander will have to be reshot next year. It was great seeing you and Todd. I didn't find out you left on Saturday night until Jeremey told me as we were packing up Sunday morning. Keep up the blogging and I'll see y'all later!
We tried looking for you, but it was dark and stuff when we left and you were no where to be found.
