I hate Vegans
Vegans, what a bunch of self-righteous bastards. They are oh-so worried about cruelty to animals that they refuse to eat anything that comes from an animal. I did a little bit of research on vegans. One one website, they quoted from a farming magazine about how you are supposed to think of your farm animals as objects. Granted, this blip, that I'm SURE wasn't taken out of context, was written FORTY years ago. They blathered on about how dogs get presents for Christmas but pigs, who are just as smart, have to live in cages. I'm SURE every vegan has a pig that lives in their house that they buy a Christmas present for every year. Granted, a full sized hog can weigh over 1000 pounds, but I digress... They say how inhumane dairy farmers are because they are getting ten times more milk from a cow than they did forty years ago. Hey, maybe its because machines can do it a lot better than poor old Farmer Joe milking each cow individually into a bucket. They were also talking about how corporations are taking over the small family farms. That's because small family farmers have always notoriously been poor. One year with no rain and they are screwed. If you were at the grocery store you may have noticed some more expensive eggs called "free range" or something similar. These are from the family farmer that doesn't have his chickens in cages. Maybe all those tree huggers ought to shell out the money and buy the more expensive eggs then swearing off all animal products all together. Yeah, I'm SURE there is NO WAY that vegans have never even been on a farm before. I'm sure they have seen all this "cruelty" with their own eyes. Actually, I'm sure all vegans have tons of farmland and tons of farm animals that run free, never to be eaten by people. Because it is oh so cheap and easy to own farm animals as pets. Granted, you do have to beware of all the natural preditors of chickens, like minks and wolves. Oh, well, the vegan farmer will protect their chickens so they will just shoot the mink or wolf, wait a minute... such an animal lover couldn't do that. They will just keep their chickens in cages, safe from preditors, wait a minute... a chicken CANNOT live in a cage!!! Oh what is a vegan farmer to do? I'm sure the vegan farmer is also well aware that it is very painful for a dairy cow to not get milked regularly. Since we are not going to be cruel to animals, vegan farmer will have to milk the dairy cow, wait a minute... oh what is the vegan farmer to do? I'm also sure the the vegan farmer is well aware that pigs, when left to wander out in the wild, will actually become wild hogs, that can be quite the scary predator to humans and chickens alike. But I'm sure the vegan farmer already knew that, having read ABSOLUTLY EVERYTHING about farms and farm animals that has been written in apparently, the last forty years. Yup, the vegan farm... oh so very practical and animal friendly...
