Shout out to Katie
Katie's mom gave her a box full of goodies last week. What was in the box, but 1/2 of a matching pair of best friend earrings from grade school. Who was the proud owner of the other half but yours truly. The earrings were dangly gold and with a heart with best friend written on it broken in half. So one friend would have the "best" side and one friend would have the "friend" side. The earring to go in your other ear was just a random gold stud. They totally reek of the 80s. So upon Katie's great find she calls and tells me of coarse. So then I have to call my mom and she gets out all of my horrible 80s earrings and brings them over here and lo and behold the other half of the set. So we have been friends since we were five, and we both still have the goofy best friend earrings to show for it. Doesn't that just beat all?
