the stupid pretty girl that does nothing
The stupid pretty girl that does nothing. I had a sighting yesterday. It was at a high school graduation party. The party took place at this house that had a professional skeet shooting range. The guy that owns it and the grad and some of the grad's friends were all shooting when I got there. And then there was the girl. Sitting on the ground watching, saying nothing, doing nothing. She tried extremely hard to pull off her casual dress. She had the ponytail, but with the perfectly styled bangs. The gold necklace, gold bracelet and gold flip flops to highlight her tank top and shorts. Not to mention the perfectly fake all over tan. Here's the problem I have with the pretty girl that does nothing: You see, she tried so hard to pull off the look so that she would look perfectly perfect, and she did. One would assume that you care about what people think when you try so hard, but she was so lacking of any kind of personality, even her own boyfriend was ignoring her all day. It took me a long time to figure out who she belonged to. It just says to me that all she cares about is that people think that she is pretty, and that was pretty much all anyone thought of her. Well, the older ladies were making fun of her behind her back because she insisted on sitting out in the sun in the 100 degree heat instead of in the shade because she didn't want to be too far away from the boyfriend who was ignoring her. Oh to be young and stupid.
